Nokia N900 and Maemo 5 first videos

Nokia released a few videos about Nokia newly launched N900 phone and his Maemo OS
The first video is a nice promo showcase of the N900, the second is a hands-on tour of the device presented by Jussi Makinen, Marketing Manager, Maemo Devices @ Nokia and the last one is a presentation of the Maemo 5 OS user interface.

The Nokia N900 Internet Tablet hasn’t been officially announced yet but there are a lot of roumors about it.

Nokia N810 N900 Internet Tablet
Nokia N900 will have support for Quad-band GSM, HSDPA, WiMAX, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
It will be powered by Smart Tablet 2008, based on Maemo.
On January 2009 Dr. Ari Jaaksi revealed a pre-alpha SDK of Maemo 5.
Some of the news are:
- online anywhere with cellular connectivity over HSPA for broadband anywhere
- powerful computing with TI OMAP3 processor – for better performance and better graphics performance
- photo sharing with hi-def camera – imaging and photo-sharing
- Nokia is now Gold Sponsor of Linux Foundation, has contributed code today for 3G/HSPA cellular (data) connectivity for OMAP3 to Linux kernel
As Nokia N800 and Nokia N810 were criticized about the big sizes, it seems the N900 will be a bit smaller, just like iPhone, with a 3.5″ display.
About the storage, Nokia may have 16GB internal storage capacity, as well as a miniSDHC slot to extend it to your needs.
