The Nokia N900, which we used for a week, runs on Maemo 5, a lightweight version of Debian, one of the major Linux distributions that Nokia chose to Android. An ambitious strategy, even foolhardy for a Nokia is increasingly isolated on the front of the smartphone. But moreover, it was dealing with a telephone, an Internet Tablet or a Pocket PC? The manufacturer of mobile computer speaks and highlights the "extreme speed and unparalleled performance" of its mobile. The camera will be available in early December in The Phone House stores, for about 650 euros, excluding subscription promotion.

After the insulting and humiliating experience that was the N96, that I'm stuck with until next October on my contract, I'll never go Nokia again. They release handsets every other week it seems, and once new ones are released, the existing owners of superceded models are left unsupported with buggy phones. Anyone who pays 750 for this new N900, must want their head reading. I would like to see Nokia fail miserably after my experience with their smartphones. cheap, plasticky rubbish. I'm so sick of this smartphone era. I'll be keeping my netbook handy, and buying a ruggedized candybar style simplephone next. a phone is a phone, not a computer, and never will be. smartphones are nothing more than gimicky toys. fact.

Very impressive, but I hope N900 will fully support office app.
And I donnot want to interfere with virus, really.Will you assure?
Last but not least, price is too high, $500 is reasonable and acceptable.
I'm from VietNam BTW.

N900 does have WiFi. It doesn't have MMS, but nokia has promised it in the next software update. It supports T-Mobile 3G frequency in USA. It is listed in Amazon for $550

what I want?
* something asap!
* I've been waiting for a phone that's having as good user-friendly interface as all its past models. there are too many logical features list from past nokia models.
* cheap, US$100? contract is ok
* not too big (nokia should have 1 model for those who like bigger screens;current one should be cheap!)
* not laggy.
* don't be like Iphone.... please have at least a bit of (or at least slight) variation for different models... can't imagine why can people live with same things all over and all around! people will soon start wearing uniform yet enjoying that too?

Hope there will be also WIMAX edition any soon. With it equiped. There will be no need of any other phone. My primary use of it will be for Remote connection to my desktop machine and SkYping on-the-way. But in order to have good coeverage I will need WIMAX, which is already available in my country from (BG) 5 providers.
